Heather Kirk, author of two novels for teens with Napoleon, Warsaw Spring and A Drop of Rain, recently gave a 12-week course for adults in creative writing at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. The course, which stretched from September 15 to December 8, 2008, offered the fundamentals of writing non-fiction, poetry, plays, filmscripts, short stories and novels.
